My sinuses are killing me (hello, Pollen). My hand hurts from being stuck three times with a needle in order to draw blood. And I have a paper due tomorrow. Can I crawl under the covers and make this day go away?

Well, today is the big day...the official last day of my Herceptin treatments. After this, there will be no more trips to the oncologist to be poked with a needle and have medicine run through my veins. Yay!!! Dragonbrother is the editor for a small town newspaper in North Carolina. Most of the time, his opinion page is the place where he can be rather sarcastic. But today's opinion focused on Relay for Life and my fight with breast cancer. I just thought I'd share it with y'all.

*Lets out a big breath* The surgery is over. I made it through and couldn't be happier that it's done. Whew. I've only been a little sore and I'll be able to go back to work tomorrow. So...good things all around.
